Larry Gray’s current role is to quantify the value that P&W products bring to the customers and marketing the PW2000 and PW4000 engines. He is Commericial Engines’ leading expert on environmental issues with a focus on noise regulations and engagement with airport authorities.
He also participates in the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) process by which environmental policy is formulated, evaluated and implemented. Larry also participates in industry groups that track the development of environmental issues.
Larry joined Pratt & Whitney in 1984 and has held numerous positions in engineering, marketing and program management organizations. Larry started his career at P&W as an engineer, conducting airplane performance evaluations in support of JT8D and PW2000 engine programs. Prior to joining the Marketing organization, he supported JT8D business development activities as part of the JT8D Program Management organization.
Larry holds a bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University, a masters degree in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.S. in Engineering Science with a concentration in energy, environment and sustainable development.
